Rocky Mountain Worm Company (RMWC) is a small family company with family values established by father and son, Ken and Jay Williams. Our worm farm is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and we have been worm farming since 2010! We believe strongly in the importance of organic sustainable growth and use our line of earthworm by-products to promote all organic growing practices.
Rocky Mountain Worm Company is located behind High Yield Organics, an organic garden shop and grow store just east of downtown Colorado Springs. High Yield Organics sells a variety of organic soil amendments, while RMWC specializes in the production and sale of pure organic artisan quality worm castings, African Nightcrawler worms, and African Nightcrawler worm cocoons.
All of our connoisseur-level products are available locally in Colorado Springs and are also shipped nationwide!
Local Colorado Springs Worm Farmers
That began a journey into raising worms and producing their amazing worm castings.
Jay Williams survived cancer in high school, an event that changed his outlook on medicine and food. Jay went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University to get a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Jay decided after graduation to put his love of technology and organic growing to use in producing the finest organic worm castings available nationwide.
Making a Difference
From day-one, RMWC has been actively involved in local, sustainable gardening efforts by sponsoring projects across the state of Colorado. We are excited to be apart of and help support community organizations and projects.
Buy Local & Support Your Economy!
Small businesses account for 75% of all new jobs and employ just over ½ of all U.S. workers. Locally-owned businesses reinvest in the local economy at a 60% higher rate than chains and Internet retailers. If every family in the country spent an extra $10 a month with a locally-owned, independent business instead of a national chain, over $9.3 billion would be directly returned to local economies.
